“Number of Subscribers” isn’t really the best metric for measuring growth. For example, I’m also subscribed on a secondary account. Also, not every visitor subscribes, and usually nobody unsubscribes even if they leave piefed/lemmy. (Monthly Active Users is a much better metric.) Still, Number of Subscribers is on the sidebar and it is “a” measure of growth. Last May this community had 666 subscribers so at least it isn’t flatlining!

Anyway, as of this writing the number of subscribers on !gothindustrial@lemmy.world is 978. It’ll prolly reach 1k sometime in the next couple weeks idk. Looking forward to it!

    I thought that was from The Hunger. Great opening scene. I wish they’d show the whole band though and not just Peter Murphy.

      Just recently got an HD source for a rewatch. But yeah, at least some Daniel Ash. He’s been every bit the icon and influence as Murphy. Even if Murphy was the face of the band.
