Hello,

Started up my deck today and when I plugged it in it wouldn’t charge. Changed the power socket, tried charging it through the monitor I have, but nothing.

I read online to hold the - volume button, the … button and the power button all together. The charging LED flashed three times but that was it.

Now I can’t turn on the deck, charging still doesn’t work and I really have no idea on what to do.

The battery was at 75%, I limit it so it doesn’t charge over 80%. I don’t leave it plugged in. I’ve been using a portable monitor with it lately that plugs into the USB-C but I haven’t run into any issues with it and it was working fine last night.

Can someone please help?

EDIT: it’s just turned on by itself randomly, still won’t charge though.

I had this happen to me, was related to overheating

Unplug the battery if you’re ok opening it up, press the power button to clear the state/bios

Try turning it on once you’ve done the above, plug the deck in while the battery is unplugged

Once booting, plug the battery back in and close it up. Make sure to turn the deck off before plugging in the battery

You can start it with the battery out, shut it down after bios setup and launching once, then put the battery in and launch it if its anything like the cmos failure thay happened with my laptop. I swapped to fast charging, my issue was hybrid battery compensating for weaker charger brick (they dont support a more powerful brick either for passthrough, battery is needed for full performance, alienware laptops are weird)
