EVs are supposed to clean up the air

That’s an incredibly ignorant thing to say from an EV publication. They don’t clean the air, they just don’t pollute it. It doesn’t matter how many EVs there, it matters how many ICE vehicles they’re displacing.

They’re such a small % of vehicles, not to mention pollutants overall, I would be extremely surprised to learn that they had any significant impact on the global environment.
