My Steam Deck OLED does the thing where after waking from sleep it infinitely displays the spinning logo, the game sound is audible but I can’t actually get into the game. In most cases no buttons react, not even the Steam button. Only way out is a forced shutdown. Everything works again after a restart.

I’ve read online that disabling startup animations is supposedly a workaround for that. The thing is, that feature is not and was never turned on on my device. Does anybody know of different reasons or fixes for the bug?
