Nvidia has confirmed “Globes” report that it has chosen the Israel Land Authority (ILA) area in Kiryat Tivon to build its huge campus that will accommodate up to 10,000 employees.
According to the illustration published by the US chip giant, this will be a large campus inspired by the design of the company’s new iconic headquarters in Santa Clara. When built it will be surrounded by commercial areas and restaurants with investment in parks and green spaces.
AMD also has Israeli investments. There’s not really any safe purchases with tech products, which sucks. At least their Linux drivers don’t suck.

Buy second hand. Use your electronics for as long as you can, and use and advocate for software that takes limited ressources. It’s quite complicated, but feasible.
2nd hand is a big gamble with GPUs though.
the large intel foundry within occupied Palestine is like 10 miles from the Gaza border.

Interesting. I wonder if BDS will add them to the list at some point.
They’ve at least called them out specifically before. But other than saying “buy no computer or parts”, it’s hard to do a targeted boycott since there’s no option that doesn’t funnel money to Israel. Any laptop, individual part, work machine, etc is affected.
Only buying Chinese products from SMIC and CXMT is probably the best you can do.
do you think this will become an option for us amerikkkans in the near future? Is it feasible nowadays and I’m in for a glorious surprise?
Well there’s AMD, and Intel is already on the list so I could see them adding Nvidia if this goes ahead. But I do agree it’s ridiculously hard to boycott certain tech things like Google or Amazon, especially considering most people don’t really have a say in what their work uses
disgusting I hope everyone involved is stricken with dozens of horrible boils that ooze pus
