    I’ve been quiet fired from my retail hell job for certain, it takes me years between jobs between blacklists and just being unemployable of applying non stop to grab anything, and when I do its only a piece of shit. I’m just an old man forever unemployed, always applying to the void never getting employed.

    What was bad today was some little college age shits at work that are the new closers were like ‘tee hee if you could do your job’, not my fault I’m no salesman and probably too neurospicy for this line for work. I wonder if at some degree they were put up for that little bit of bullying to cause me to quit (oh precious children, it will take a lot more than that, stuff that would end up on Worldstar) since when I first joined some physics major had the same quiet firing happen and people went from being friendly to flipping and being monsters toward him though he was a nice guy, competent etc. Then again one of the closers is a neonazi, which fits the local population better, so maybe not.

    Anyway, my state’s unemployment website is infamous for glitchy and I can’t even get started, I’ll have to fight that tomorrow. I’m glad I have at least here to shout at the void about things. For being a permanent member of the lumpenprole I’m sitting in an ok position for yet another round of semi-NEETdom and have some small reserves for bills, soon as this week’s joke paycheck of 70 dollars goes in I can reapply for foodstamps.

      Mood being lumpen is rough 😓, feature not a bug and all. I always feel no one really earns their wage and are just kept around because they’re liked at least that’s my take from being neurodivergent too. My last job was mostly so many extended families in positions looking out for each other mixed with lovers and shit, one of the top sales guy I think was outed as gay so they got rid of him and the company has been going down more and more fuck that place.

        Retail hell job, wouldn’t surprise me and wouldn’t be the first job that chased me out soon as they caught wind I was trans, though I think here its merely management chasing kpi so hard they closed the store this weekend due to their golden children not coming out with the -45 snow storm rather than bring in reliable workers that will show up and live down the road. This job was so bad for my social anxiety, one doesn’t merely exposure therapy their way out of it, I’m still as anxious as when I started 3yrs ago.

        At least I got an unemployment claim started, got that going for me lol. I may not be able to ever improve things for myself, but sometimes I can give others glimpses of theory or knowledge to make their lives easier I guess.

              Yeah I’ve some very nice phlebotomist that helped me out, good advice like keep your feet leveled/now bow your head or them breaking out the big cuff for me during screening. It’s a little nerve wracking first times mine is 4 cities away so if I can do it I wasted gas or bus fare. The rates are also annoying they’ll pay out like 40 for the first and 80 for the second but if you can’t make both you lose out.

              StillI keep at it to help my family out best I can, they’d prefer it if I didn’t but it gives us some breathing room on bills/food

      This somewhat reminds me of how I saw this clip on Instagram of a white woman being asked “What kind of men do you like?” on the street, and she responded with, “I’m into Black guys,” and it cut to a Black man responding by saying, “That’s why white supremacists hate us!”

      And the comments were mostly just other Black people laughing along and, after enough scrolling, I found just a few comments pointing out how disgusting it is that this Black man is enabling racial fetishization. Of course, these comments received very little recognition.

        I’m always skeptical of this because so many reactionaries pretend to be PoC, LGBTQ+, women, Jewish, Muslim, and so on online. That’s not to say there aren’t minorities who post shit, but I do think the self hatred you see online is over-represented. We really need an emoji for this:

        It’s gotten worse with AI spam because now they can make fake accounts without having to steal someone else’s photos. And they know nobody is going to go through each and every profile to try figuring out if a person is who they say they are or if they’re an eldritch AI slop gooner with eleven fingers and three legs.

        It’s been a problem for years. Reactionaries get upset over something -> chuds go look for evidence to validate their beliefs -> can’t find anything because what they believe is nonsense -> chuds fabricate evidence -> other chuds get upset over the fake thing someone made up -> cycle repeats.

      Oddly enough I think the origin of this trope actually comes from the military itself, and was probably spread amongst the western left by disillusioned “lefty” veterans. It’s a common form of bullying/teasing to joke about fucking each others wives when the other is out on deployment, there’s even terms for people who do that (Jody).

      While on its face it seems like it’s an attack on US military members in the form of mockery, in actuality it’s just people perpetuating the hazing culture of the military and recreating it in another context. Hence why it carries over the casual chauvinism and misogyny from that culture as well.

      The racism around sex work is so widely accepted despite it being so blatant. White women get paid more to do interracial scenes than other groups. Black women do not get paid more, regardless of their co-star’s race. This is textbook racial discrimination, yet it’s allowed because nobody cares about rights for sex workers. They especially do not care about the rights for sex workers of color.

      And as far as I know, gay and trans pornstars have similar discrimination problems. Which, of course, are compounded because they’re queer.

      GOD YES. Most of our sexpat problem can be traced to “Latina” porn and the “big booty Latina” meme that a lot of men believe every woman in Latin America looks like.

      Idk if this is on or off topic, but more taboo fetish videos, and porn in general, needs a beginning section where the porn stars explain in some depth why they’ve seeked out and want to perform things. How the consent process is drawn out. (Etc…) Like is it just for a money transaction, are they here to confront certain fears, is it something else? I feel it would clear some things up about what the actors need to work out. Then we might have more materialist answers to every taboo kink. Otherwise many people won’t address issues in porn. If porn stars are seeking things out that their audience is, it could help porn stars connect and their audience to understand themselves and common themes in society.

      Edit: Someone just told me this would all be nice, but every second of filming costs money due to capitalism, and not every porn star is there to talk about their shit.

          I’m presenting a lot of assumptions here… I thought that that porn was mainly catering to women who wear burkas, so that they have a sexual outlet in their private time. Have I misunderstood who it’s catering to? I actually don’t know anything about the values of people who wear burkas. Surely it’s different for everyone who wears one. Idk what makes the genre offensive because of that, plus I’ve seen very few videos and felt it’s not for me. Do women not wear burkas at all during sex, and is it therefore disrespectful to use it as part of a kink outfit?

          Edit: What I saw is actually called a hijab, not a burka. Idk if burkas go by the same rules but I found a site saying “When Can a Woman Take Off Her Hijab?”

          Women may take off their hijab in a private setting where non-family men are not present. Shared spaces with other women or immediate family members, such as at home, are common places where hijabs are not required.

          The hijab’s purpose is to maintain modesty in public or around strangers, not within private, safe environments.

                This could be true but another example, as soon as the ukraine-russia conflict broke the top searches in pornhub were for shit like mail order russian and ukrainian brides exploitation type of shit and it was reported in north america. The hijab/burka phenomenon gained notoriety in white men circles as a way to “own” the arabs/muslims, since it was mostly produced by white men and many of the girls participating didn’t even wear hijab/burka irl, just for the porn shoots afaik. The industry itself capitalizes on kinks that ofc are very well existent in poc communities due to racial and sexual trauma but it is very widespread and mostly made for white men is the issue and a lot of people don’t like bringing it up to avoid sounding like some christian extremist who wants to ban all porn.     Well, a white woman asked me out a month ago. I was going to swear off dating, especially dating white people, but she seemed really nice and I’d been enjoying talking with her so I said sure. It’s been going ¿great? I don’t understand, this is so surreal.

    She made some comment early on about being worried she didn’t know enough about anti-racism for me and I said, “that’s a fair concern. Are you willing to listen and learn? To support me or at least not get in my way if I’m in some fight with mutuals over them being racist or oblivious? To not peace police me either in personal life or in my opposition to our fascist government?” She said yes, and has been honestly doing so much better with it than any previous partner, even a more radical one. I’m shocked. She’s not as politically educated but is getting up to speed quickly because the nature of the political moment is so radicalizing. She even managed to learn to say my name correctly with the phonemes that don’t exist in English.

    She made some comment about feeling like she wasn’t doing enough, and I pointed out she’s stepped into a major logistical and support role for me and the work I’m doing, way beyond what I’d expect of a partner. But she wants to be supportive and is good at logistics. I told her: “If I am the tip of the spear, you are the shaft.”

    What the fuck. Life’s looking up for me as the world goes to shit. What the fuck.

      Not sure how much more Americans have to see to have the point of class solidarity in action than this. He and his administration continually talk about using ICE to go after pedos, sex traffickers, etc, and yet they’ve said absolutely nothing about going after anyone in the files. Obviously it’d be hypocritical for Trump to do so since he’s just as intertwined in this shit as anyone else, but he went as far as to come out and defend Bill Clinton.

      It’s funny, because even the premier “anti-Zionist” subreddit r/JewsOfConscious still regularly has libs and, dare I say, liberal zionists clutching their pearls about how Hamas is evil because they pose a threat to their lives or their family(paraphrasing from memory) and getting scratched in one thread regarding Jewish exceptionalism and like… I know reddit is botted to hell and back and filled with insufferable libs like any major platform nowadays, but it really feels like this overemphasis of antisemitism over all other forms of bigotry is just way too entrenched, especially in supposedly “progressive” spaces. It always seems like liberal zionists get way too much fucking good will and charity than ANYONE in the global south, even on the left.

        It feels like some mix of western guilt plus political convenience. Try to pass off the guilt of the roles they played in the holocaust by helping maintain the settler colony that is key for their dominion over the middle east and claim its for the good of jewish people even if it’s a fucking lie.

Liberals keep saying “Azov is reformed, they aren’t like that anymore” and yet Nazi symbology and naming conventions are still pervasive in the armed forces. Yet these are the smol bean heroes that need all of our unconditional support. Don’t think Israel should be killing innocent men, women, and children? Wow, well now YOU are the antisemite.

        It’s hilarious they always use the ukraine gotcha, showing their whole nazi asses and this convo was started by a ukrainian jewish person cause ig history doesn’t matter and the rabid antisemitism that was present in ukrainian society before 2022 and that the west had no issue recognizing back then suddenly went poof and got launched into every single palestinian toddler who not only want to kill all jewish people but are also rabid homophobes and deserve to be carpet bombed. “But you can’t generalize all ukrainians” then stop basically generalizing all palestinians and putting your feelings over their lives, not that violent uprising should even be condemned by the colonized against colonizers but I digress.
