Note: I am not knowledgeable enough on ciliate behavior to be confident that these ciliates are in fact “having a good time”. The ciliates in blue are likely following some sort of gradient, my guess is oxygen. Therefore there is likely a range of comfortably within the ciliates in blue.
I really appreciate the work you put into making these videos. I love your microscopy, for one thing. You always have excellent contrast and make it really easy to tell who you’re shooting without needing a pointer and adding the details like the magnification, speed, and subject give my brain some context to better understand what’s happening. Thank you!
