As long as i am not expected or under obligation to put in any effort i may actually host one, whatever it might be.

I would love to help put a wiki together, but unfortunately I have no idea what Funhole is and I was hoping someone would make one so I could tell whether I should like this stuff or if it’s gonna get me arrested.

It’s definitely gonna get you arrested but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t like it.

Funhole is simply put a lemmy community to post original content. I am not sure anyone really knows whats going on here but i’d sure like to document some of the recurring ideas.

Honestly I’ve been loving Funhole and I have learned a few things about what’s going on but most of the time I have no idea. Just along for the ride.

As a non-moderator I am here to police your doubts and say this: please read the sidebar! It contains a pretty good description of what funhole is!

The biggest question i have, can we trust to be niche enough to just allow anyone to make edits or do we somehow need a verification system for funhole content creators?

        Huh, tempting.

A wiki page isn’t exactly a wiki itself but i like how its already there.

Would the wiki moderators allow it? I have heard they can be very strict on accepting new pages.

of course not, but it would be funny for the 3 minutes it’d be up

Could just make a funhole post where people comment with documentation

Have that post linked in the sidebar.

    Yes.

I think the WORLD needs a funhole wiki. As pmjv said last there will be at least 2 people going to check it out. We have to think of those 2.

It will be as incomprehensible as the subthroat itself and as fun too!

If help or a server is needed I can provide. I just don’t know how to decide which software to use or if we need to code something. And i don’t know if it needs moderation and don’t want to moderate it either.

a server i have, also a domain I wouldn’t mind to make a sub for.

The tricky thing seem indeed to be what software to use. Personally i like to stay as minimalist as possible the hard questions is the one with moderation, or even user verification.

Id prefer no moderation and free to change by anyone but doubt that’s realistic.

Maybe we can just use codeberg or gitlab (for versioning, authentication, build and boring stuff) and put the thing on gitlab or codeberg page ?

I kind of think that anybody wanting to add things to the wiki will be capable of typing git push in their computo boxes.

        But I’m not sure.
