Some people are so cloud-brained that they cannot imagine that a nation can build its own infrastructure for doing the basic things that nations typically do

Yup, critical infrastructure must be produced by the own government. Limit or stop the “deals” with private corporations. Reserve those for whatever is not critical.

      Critical are:

      • Identity card/passports
      • Healthcare
      • Military

Much must be regulated, especially to halt the corrupting influences of corporatism, techbroism and reactionarism.

It’s capitalism, not corporatism. They’re two words for the same greedy cunts. Stop helping them to hide and deflect blame.

To me those are the same as well. I use them interchangeably 🤷

I don’t know what vibe my comment gave, but I did agree with you, so it might be worth to let it sink in before commenting :)

I mean, that’s my point: They are the same thing.

Though deflecting the problem on to “corporatism” instead of capitalism is just running cover for the capitalists. They don’t want people relaizing it’s the whole fucking concept of companies keeping the profits that royally fucks the economy over decades.

The whole “corporate” thing is just at which scale everyone gets fucked, not that they get fucked.

So to restate: The deeper point is, if they’re the same thing, don’t use the less accurate and more easily dismissed term.
