Do not bring a handgun. You’ll be lacking in range and stopping power. Bring a lever action or semi auto rifle chambered in 30 caliber.

Yes but the key is that they actually wanted to mag dump, and they’re just mad that they can’t really handle the caliber they’re using and refuse to admit that for a 5’7" 160 lb man maaaaaaybe a quality 9mm would be better to carry than a .45. And I say that as a much larger than average guy who will choose 9mm over .45 any day of the week lol. With modern ammunition I just don’t see how .45 is worth it for an EDC. Maybe back in 1983, but modern 9mm ammo is pretty incredible.

Where is “practice as a team”, “be backed by your community”, and “practice using your first aid kit”? Random people showing up with guns they can barely use is a terrible idea.

Small nitpic, most police forces and militaries would argue 9mm is more than enough (and it costs about half as much per round).

This meme supposes that big guns are better. The image shows army but the rules apply more to a gangster armed fight rather than a war. Thus, bringing .44 magnum to a street fight values more than having glock 17. In a real military conflict being able to carry and shoot a lot of rounds is more important than being able to one shot a bear with your handgun. Thus, .45 ACP can be categorized as a hunting caliber now.
