I know someone who uses an older-than-methuselah cnc mill machine that takes instructions via rs232 or 1.44mb floppy.
While it isn’t modern, they still very much use floppies.
seeing this pic with the sd card, is there a way to make something similar to cassette tape adapters with an aux plug? like just put electromagnets over the read head and feed it data at the expected speed?
