China accepted Russian blabbering about Ukrainian “jumping fascist-nazies”. How is this situation any different?
I’m assuming China views “re-integrating former member states” in a different light*.
Whereas Venezuela is a completely non-US related territory.
*I’m not saying I support them. Just that I assume they view Russia invading Ukraine in a similar light to their own perspective with regards to Taiwan.
Of course they would think some nonsense like this. Even during Empire times Ukraine was more or less separate unit, and in Soviet era Ukraine was a completely standalone republic. Even represented in UN. Actually, Ukraine was never a part of Russia.
