Karl Marx?

I didn’t neccessarily mean it in terms of specific people, more that economy in universities (I can only speak to european universities, surely also elsewhere, not sure about the US though) is nothing like the neoliberal groupthink of economists elevated in media or politics, there is actual debate and there is consideration of factors like climate impact and hapiness of people. Not saying the field is a bunch of socialists, probably mostly well meaning liberals with iterative ideas that don’t go far enough and a few socialists who don’t get dismissed out of hand, but definitely also not profit-above-all scociopath capitalism hawks.
