It would funny for whoever minted that to learn that it would later be worth £15,000. Absolutely do not explain the concept of inflation beforehand
Inflation wasn’t a thing before modern banking and interest rates, things rose and fell with demand solely! I do believe the wages of a 5th C worker were not too dissimilar to a 17th C worker
