Doug Ross is such an egotistical turd. He tries to hide his self-centeredness behind a concern for his patients, but constantly puts the hospital and his patients at risk.
His character got quite a bit more likeable during S02-S04, but then he turned into a loose cannon again this season. I’m only 13 episodes in, but I have the feeling he’s gonna break Carol’s heart again, and for that I WOULD NOT FORGIVE HIM.

By E15 he’s burned all bridges, injured Jeanie in a vehicular accident, gotten Carol demoted from running her clinic, AND THEN has the audacity to try to pressure her into uprooting her whole life to move to Seattle with him so he can avoid the tire fire he’s created. What a pathetic loser.
