It was like 4 inches. They’re making it more newsworthy than it ever deserves to be. I live in NYC. This was a nothing burger and will be washed away by the warm rain on Monday.
What’s worse is I’m 5 hours north of you and you think that much snow would be even less news worthy but the goods aren’t gonna panic buy themselves.
Gotta move those pallets of bread and milk somehow.
I was thinking the same thing… we been spoiled for years now and they crave getting a bad snow storm so bad they just make all of them seem like they will be the worst.
I hate snow and they kept saying 8 inches which sucks, but everytime I tracked it in Google weathers app it had widely different estimates and honestly I have been believing that app more than the news for years now. Its been spot on like every time. I think I got 4 tops as well and was very happy.
Theory 1: they over predict the weather so they can never be blamed for it being worse than predicted
Theory 2: by simply saying we’re getting big storms even though we’re not people won’t think so much about changing weather patterns from climate change
