Oh cool, I just visited Guilin in June. We did the river tour and really enjoyed it. I liked how it’s a smaller city, by Chinese standards (pop. about 2 mil). More relaxed than say, Chengdu or Beijing and so beautiful.

Oh wow, they have big boats now… When I was there it was all 3 person bamboo rafts, haha

I fucking love Chinese (and most Asian) landscapes, they have so much varied terrain and such different geology than the places I’ve been to.
I’d love to visit some of the massive caves someday.
