        Didn’t USAID money just get centralized into the executive, and particularly directed by the secretary of state? I’ve heard Ben Norton mention this multiple times.

        I know this comment is in jest, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

        Though personally I’m starting to think that the reason the propaganda machine is becoming less effective is becuase they’re being controlled more and more by oeople who buy into their own propaganda too much.

          Yeah, they’ve revived parts of it, but there was a disruption in the money flow. Also, maybe they stopped allocating money towards Russia propaganda since they’re trying to make a deal now. And every much agree with you that they are drinking their own kool-aid too.

            i don’t think it’s with russia only, china and prk propaganda are so lame lately and if you see polls china’s view in the world is growing highly in acceptance lately, they’re producing such lame propaganda people are not even buying it that much

          Definitely seems plausible but I think it’s possible that it simply doesn’t get results anymore given the current media and information landscape. So they’re discarding it.
