It depends on the weather but usually I don’t ride during the winter. Wet leaves, snow, cold and darkness makes it less fun.

Yes. I have an eFatbike with studded tires. I don’t particularly enjoy it but it’s my only excuse to get out of the house in the winter.

Yes, I ride all year round. I live in Scotland and even in the summer the weather can be rough. Winter’s not all that much worse.

Yeah man, I live in the South. Winter is the best time to ride. I barely ride in the Summer.

I ride all winter mountain bikes. We have some snow but hardly enough to fat bike, but it’s mostly rain and freezing temps.

Also riding less in the evenings, but usually 1-2x w/ lights and 1x a weekend. On really bad days it’s the trainer.

No. I’m not spending thousands more on a fat bike that has limited use. Winters for skiing, summer is for bikes of all shapes and sizes and powertrains. In my world anyway.

The one time I tried to do it, I couldn’t move like, at all. Couldn’t even mount the bike.

I live on the prairies, at the foothills of the rockies. We have a lot of snow right now, plus it’s cold (like stupid cold). Even when it’s packed down, if you try to ride your regular bike on the trails, you get shamed by the fat bike riders and the trail interest groups who think they have license to decide who gets to ride the trails.
