Did a bunch of overtime over the weekend and got paid double time for it.
This bee is extremely cute and I love it.
As of about a month ago my life has unexpectedly impeoved. I suddenly don’t actively want to die all the time anymore. Now that is not written upon my face that my heart has been tortured into a pit of darkness where hope goes to die, I now have hot people throwing themselves at me and I’m handling the attention with caution, discipline, patience, emotional maturity, resilience, and self awareness but not fear. My friends are beginning to get to stand down and stop worrying about me. My therapist is happy and relieved, dumbfounded, at how different and not bleak I suddenly am. I started HRT last week. I reconnected with an estranged sibling and it went great. I’m being so much more social.
I’m working out again without flashbacks. I’m eating healthier automatically without any effort or resistance. I’ve lost some weight and I’m also getting stronger. I’m not spreading despondency so much. I am curious about what lies ahead in life instead of despondent and convinces there’s nothing but suffering. I’m still upset about being emotionally abused and scapegoated by my ex / former best friend because it turns out abusing me is easier than them going to therapy for real, and that is still something that will have to be dealt with at some point, but for now I get a break from suffering and can maybe enjoy life a bit.

I had no idea.I like the puns from the japanese version of bulbasaur/ivysaur/venasaur and how it was used in the anime but it was kind of obvious.
I only know fushigidane, I have to look up the other two!
不思議草/fushigisou (ivysaur had leaves on the back) and the call was そうそうsimilar to how bulbasaur said da ne? and (不思議花/fushigibana/venasaur flowers on the back) which I assume also went for 不思議話/不思議バナ becauae uhh.erm…
because… you can’t understand what’s being said… by the pokemon or because the first appearance of venasaur in the anime was erm… in the bulbasaur evolution festival where nature builds a wall for them to sing and evolve soo…uhh… they called it a mystical tale and the call バナバ (Lagerstroemia speciosa) was uttered and the tree bloomed with flowers

(I’m on call over the Christmas weekend but then on leave for a week from next MondayTook my coworkers out for walkies today and we had a really nice time. This was on employer time too which I was able to pitch to our manager as team building and getting to know the neighbourhood-time, we went and got glögi at the end. Also it finally started snowing today.
Our move is almost done, as in all our stuff is finding their places. My partner made us a new baking table for our kitchen (that we hauled up the stairs of this glorious Soviet block building yesterday) and it’s amazing. All diy so didn’t cost much at all.
Doing my Christmas cooking and enjoying this very silent apartment. No traffic noise at all as this is a building inside an older zone of these Soviet style buildings. No car lanes nearby, lots of trees and the only things you hear are neigbours kids playing. Everything is within walking distance from here and there are gorgeous tall pine trees behind our windows. I love it.
Had a fun hackathon at work, got to buy a Christmas gift for the girl I’ve been seeing, and we had two meteor showers this month (Geminid earlier and Ursid last night)!
