Probably the most important album in the catalog. If you’re a fan of metal and especially progressive music this is an essential listen. I can’t emphasize enough how fantastic this album is, it’s a masterpiece. I say all that and it’s still not my favorite BTBAM album.

I haven’t been able to get into them as a whole, but The Decade of Statues is such an enjoyable adventure start to finish.
Fair enough. They’re a difficult band for many to get into, especially for metal oriented folks.
I loved BTBAM in high school but haven’t really kept up with them. Listening now really takes me back.
I couldn’t imagine myself being into BTBAM when I was in HS. I was way late to being into tech death, prog metal, and avante-garde.
