I’m not, and I’m a huge soccer fan living in a host city with more than enough money to afford the insane ticket prices. I chose to get a refund on my deposit when they said how much tickets were going to cost.
A World Cup only happens every four years, and despite all that blabbery, the teams are still competing.

If you think a game played by billionaires* is that important… then pony up the ticket price and watch the advertisements on the fields like a good compliant consumer.
* the owners of the teams are the ones playing the real game, the ball kicking is just to distract you while they empty your wallet.
Yep, we can’t afford tickets either. I thought they’d be expensive, but not almost five figures for two people to attend a single game. I think we’d rather fly to Australia and New Zealand if we’re spending that much on tickets to anything.
