Paraphrasing a post I read on here about the gay community during the stonewall riots/aids era:

We would mourn our dead in the mornings, march for our rights in the afternoon, and party through the night. And thank God we did continue to party because that is what kept us going.

I don’t know. Something about trying to continue on and persevere. Hope for a better future.
