Announcing Session Protocol V2, which re-implements forward secrecy, utilizes new Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and delivers improved device management features.

Looks like Session is adding back PFS (among other things), although it’ll take a while for the protocol changes to be finalized and implemented in the apps.
