It’s pretty interesting and complex. It describes itself as kind of an aromatic and kind of an English blend. I haven’t had anything but aromatics so far, and this definitely was different. First time trying a blend with Latakia. I dunno if I’d say it’s a favorite yet, but I’m not upset with it. Kind of spicy and has a slight sweetness. Feels woodsy. Anyone tried this before?

Not that one but other Latakias. I started with lats thinking I wanted the bold flavor. But personally I found burley/va is my sweet spot. So try em all!

As Latakia blends go my fav so far has been Sam Gawith’s Squadron Leader because the Smokey Latakia note was very mild and lets the nice natural hay and bready virginias shine through.

My experience with aromatics has been they smell pretty but taste like nothing. Smoke whatever you love of course. Jus sharing!

Just to refine my aro comment: I DO often like “Danish aromatics” which are typically more virginia/burley forward with light aromatic or flavor toppings.

Enjoying some MacBaren Vanilla Cream at the moment. I think it’s been renamed MacBaren Loose Cut recently in order to save the precious children who were lighting up their pipes during recess. /sarcasm
