    i guess the conventional wisdom that it’ll foul the spark plugs is wrong

      I could imagine the aerated oil causing more wear on the piston rings, leading to leaks in the combustion chamber. But I’m not going to pretend that I know what I’m talking about (not a mechanic , not an engineer, just a relatively new hobbyist) lol.

      This video helps settle my anxiety when I over pour by like .1 or .2 quarts.

        similar here; now i know i’m okay with adding in those oil additives right after each oil change and it explains why my 17 year old car still runs better than some new cars do today.
