Very interesting exploration of politics, ethics, and human nature. He present information in a very level way without too much editorializing. This video is very approachable and level headed.

    I’d also recommend reading Jason Stanley’s book “How Fascism Works” regarding the subject.

    This is the standard conservative take on fascism. “It’s not us, honest!” I’ve heard so many conservative historians tie themselves in knots trying to prove that their beliefs are totally different and unrelated to fascism (Tom Holland, I’m looking at you).

    Seriously, this guy basically cherry picks very specific quotes to make it seem like modern, conservative, corporate America has nothing to do with fascism, neatly ignoring quotes from Mussolini describing fascism as the union of corporations and the state.

    Or the fact that the business plot in the 30’s was a fascist effort at a coup in the US by wealthy US corporate businessmen.

    Ignore this guy and his"balanced, level-headed" take on fascism. It’s just cover for modern conservatism.
