Can someone explain to me how the microblog on mbin supposed to work? Is it one to one analog of mastodon?

I’m trying to figure this out too. Mostly seeing it as posting to the lemmyverse so…
It seems like just an alternative way to experience the platform?
Then again, some folks are posting here from elsewhere in the fediverse.
Yeah, I’m confused but interested in figuring out.
@Bonus@fedia.io @nekomancer@fedia.io so in mbin you can view threads like from lemmy. But mbin also had support for posts (aka microblog) from Mastodon for example.
You can follow users from Mastodon on mbin. But at the same time you can also see threads from lemmy. And of course you can view posts from other mbin users or threads from other mbin users.
Where as some software only focuses on communities. Mbin supports all. Including even peertube and so much more…
