    If you read the article it’s clear that this is a ploy for government subsidies to keep F1 there.

      Newey’s book mentions how Mexico was the only GP at which teams had provided armed bodyguards due to the kidnap risk. The Netherlands is the capital of EuroCrime, but isn’t that rough.

      That said, there is probably only one NASCAR driver who could handle Zandvoort.
