Londo and Jakar in the same scene were the best scenes of B5.

Honestly, and I know I’m committing sci-fi heresy by saying this, but the Londo/G’kar story is the only redeemable part of Babylon 5 for me.
Everything else felt overwrought and underacted. It was always trying to be more than it could ever accomplish considering the people involved.
Londo and G’kar were the only ones who ever felt real and the least bit relateable.
Well, I guess now there’s two of us dying on this hill.
I really enjoy B5, too. But there’s something about good, solid, engaging character acting that make the most of the script. Those were the moments that really elevated the drama of the show from “pretty good” to “excellent.”
I feel we are on two different, albeit slightly similar, hills.
I often relate to genocidal maniacs! I should really finish B5 for their last season
The main reason they were relatable was because they weren’t defined by only a single characteristic.
The genocidal part wasn’t the one I related to :)
