I made this a “climate action individual” post because a “library economy” is made of individual actions - borrowing a tool instead of buying one, sharing your books with the neighborhood, etc. Bottom up instead of top down.

    It’s a great system and works well in the right environment. However, a lot of its functionality hinges on the public’s action toward the concept, and that is a determent to a system like this success.

      I was living in a small mountain outside a city for the last year. We had a whatsapp “community” with many subgroups.

      It was very active had a group for tool/food/material sharing, replacing the police and event organizing. Its something that we can do to prefigure this culture =}
