I run the lemmy.horwood.cloud instance and I seem to have fallen behind, but I cant see why.
All my logs show things work fine, but on this site -> https://phiresky.github.io/lemmy-federation-state/site?domain=lemmy.world
My instance is 2540348 behind, is there any way to clear my failing report?

Thanks for the help, I have stopped fail2ban and things are now in sync

we’re continuously getting timeouts from your instance when trying to submit activities.
It looks like we’re being blocked by your server at regular intervals:
You’re probably using something like fail2ban that keeps banning servers trying to federate to you.
