Thought this might be of some interest here.
Still getting the ‘brain zaps’ 3 years after quitting escitalopram (which when I first quit felt like someone gripping my head and shoving it forward really roughly but now just kind of feels like a muscle spasming in my brain?). No one believed me and, no offense to anyone who takes them, but I’ll never do that to myself again.
Absolutely nothing at all to do with the current state of… looks outside … pretty much everywhere? Hmm.
Maybe you found yourself in the wrong community? In the sense that this is an article about antidepressants, in a community about antidepressants.
In the sense that a major cause of antidepressant use shared by many if not most of this community’s readers is exactly what I described, how would my comment be off-target, friend?
I’m not sure if your depiction is accurate, but thank you for clarifying. I assumed what you wrote was your reaction to the article.
The article seems to almost avoid comment on the effects of said outside stimuli and thus the salient causes for “long-term use”, but I appreciate the patronizing tone, thanks.
I suppose my first comment could be read as a patronising one. Sorry for that, it was definately not my intention.
Genuinely, I appreciate the “definately” as a humanizing reminder we’re all in the same boat here, it just looks like a lashed raft sometimes. Thank you for being real, neighbor.
