When it’s hot, crows open their beaks to exhaust heat, sort of like a dog panting. You can also see the wing drifting a bit in the wind. They hold the wings a little away from the body to allow airflow.

Our’s do that as well. It’s literally this :V
And sometimes, especially when it’s very sunny, they lay down and spread their wings, which looks like they are dying, but actually it’s a kind of sunbath that helps maintain their health. I was worried the first time I saw it.
