The only connections with the real life in this dream is my bed’s position next to the window and I do have a ghost of a cat.
I was in bed, lying on my side, almost falling asleep. I felt a cat hopping on the bed and settling by my feet and I happily thought: that’s the ghost settling. Then I felt the second cat curling up against my back. Nice feeling but two cats all of a sudden? Then I felt the third small body leaning against my shoulder blades, letting out a screeching sigh and reached a very short hand on my shoulder. It really freaked me out, I awoke and tried to move but couldn’t. Alright then, I returned into the dream to sort it out. I reached over my shoulder and grabbed that little hand. It was a raccoon. Below it were also two very fluffy gray cats, I believe nebelungs or angoras. The cats were merely annoyed by the movement and stayed in place while I hurled the raccoon out of the bed and got on my feet. The raccoon hissed and tried to hide under the sofa but I dragged it out and pushed out of the door. I went back to bed, little bugger climbed up the downstairs neighbour’s conservatory and tried to jostle open the window, I had to lock it. I went downstairs and talked to the neighbours outside, one of them apologised for his cats breaking into my room but everyone’s was pissed about that pushy raccoon. Apparently my downstairs neighbour has two Alsatians and a timid cat, the next door couple has a rabbit.
So many animals…
Wait your downstairs neighbors have two cats in real life? That would freak me out lol
being invaded by a raccoon sounds terrible btw
In real life I don’t have downstairs neighbours, I live above a shop. The next door ones don’t have pets. I do have a real ghost of a cat tho. Very comforting. Never seen it but it sometimes sleeps by my feet, and sometimes it bats small things around, like pushes tweezers off the table or a comb and such.
In my dream it wasn’t the thought of cats in my room that freaked me. I love cats, it started like spinster’s idyll. It was that little hand on my shoulder and scraggy voice what caused the panic. That raccoon yipped and snarled and resisted when I yeeted it’s ass out, but never attacked or threatened me.
