The new Celtic home kit for the coming season has been teased, but fan reaction is not good.

Images emerged of the new adidas home kit for the 2023/24 Premiership season last week, with many fans hopeful that it was actually a hoax. The design featured a heavy black trim with a bubble-like pattern within the famous green hoops. Now the club have shared a teaser image of the kit which appears to confirm that the leaked version was indeed legit and will be worn by Brendan Rodgers’ men. It’s due to go on sale this Friday but if the initial response from punters online is anything to go by, then it’s not going to be flying off the shelves.

It’s interesting, but that’s about it.

Looks like someone took to a white shirt with a can of spray paint.

I think I prefer it to Arsenal’s 2nd kit, lol

Look nice to me, but you know the plain old boring stripes are appealing to more people as they are what they like.

A thing that I like is that we allow kit posts on here. I often want to discuss certain released kits but r/soccer remove posts like kit releases, probably because it’s not significant enough to keep up and it clutters up an already busy subreddit.

I can’t say I like it, the black clashes a bit much and the green looks blobby 🫧

It was that or The Scum. Daily Record is cancer to all I’m afraid but still better than the other option.
