    Interesting article. lots on that list are still my go-to. I am now thinking about what the 12 old cocktails that we no longer can drink. Maybe some bartender masters can recreate them somehow.

    Wish it was ordered chronologically. Also, Old Fashioned being from 1880? Really? It’s called ‘Old Fashioned’ because it used to be the drink that the word ‘cocktail’ was invented for in the early 1800s!

      Yeah, it goes back at least to the 18th century. It was being called a cocktail by 1806. Difford’s Guide says people were calling it an “old fashioned cocktail” sometime in the 1870s. So, I’m guessing just more AI slop in that article.

        I don’t think AI is really the issue here, people were flooding the internet with shitty, badly-sourced articles long before LLMs.
