Hey all! I was a casual reddit user and wanted to explore a different route. I’m just your typical geek. I recently de-googled my pixel 6a because I was bored. I’m an avid Linux user. I’ve had a sdf account for quite some time and am getting back to using it more (also I paid for an upgrade but it never happened. What’s up with that?) Anyway good to be here!
On SSH, you should be able to type in
uinfo
to see information about yourself andgroups
to also see a bit of information. Both should let you know if you paid for an upgrade or not because they would mention something about ARPA.When paying for an upgraded account, they needed to know your SSH username in order to give that account increased permissions. If that was not done then they likely need to know information from you so that they can associate the payment with the correct account.
It has been mentioned at the link below that there is an email address where you can reach out and mention membership issues. It may take a bit of time for a reply though.
Thanks I sent an email. I may just have to do it gain.

Welcome!
I joined SDF perhaps half a year ago, and I was upgraded to ARPA around a day after I paid for it. You should get in touch with them about your missing upgrade, I guess.
Thanks! Sent them an email.
