It will take a considerably long historical process for socialism to gain maturity in terms of both theory and practice. Therefore, we must unswervingly adhere to the basic lines of the Party for the primary stage of socialism for the next 100 years and persist in carrying out reform and innovation to ensure enduring vigor and vitality for socialism with Chinese characteristics.

I don’t think it’s fair to blame them.

The west colonized the area, the west gave it to these jewish fascists, the west looked the other way or encouraged the genocide as it began, the west papered over it by using the holocaust card as if the Palestinians bore any blame, the west turned it into an outpost, the west armed it, the west defended it, the west kept up the charade of “peace” talks and talks for two states for decades to deceive everyone into thinking there was a way out and blocked international intervention at the UN and elsewhere for 3/4ths of a century. The blood is not on China’s hands, it’s not their fault they were born into a world of western capitalist imperialist hegemony and it’s not their fault that the only way to get ahead was to keep their heads down. And they do not have the strength and power to bring down all the evils of the NATO/US empire.

come on, this isn’t 50’s China barely recovering from civil war. They could at least embargo Israel, support a one state solution and arm the resistance, like they did in the Maoist era. Instead, they choose to trade with Israel. It’s super frustrating.

It doesn’t matter if we consider China capable of solving our crises and absolving us of our sins. Painting China as complicit in Israel’s genocide is still completely unfair. You can argue that they have not done enough to stop the bleeding, but to say they’ve made no attempts, diplomatic or otherwise, to disrupt Israel’s genocide is simply untrue. It’s also not the job of the Chinese people or their government to clean up after our messes in the first place, especially at risk to their own national security and economic development.

This kind of thinking, where major powers are culpable for all the evils of the entire world over, is rooted in the Anglo-American imperialist mindset. It makes sense for the Brits or the Yanks to feel responsible for all the suffering in the world. We are! But are Chinese people also meant to feel this way? If so, why?

Weren’t you the one complaining about the adventurist NPA?

I can see cutting trade with Israel, under the presence of economic insecurity there, but beyond that, there’s no solidarity for national liberation, only realpolitik
