      A couple of my last year’s strawberry plants continued on growing this spring after being frozen in the ground for 5-6 months.

      One year I grew strawberries in a hanging pot and after that the lawn below has sprouted strawberry plants every spring.

      It seems like they only start being hard to grow if you try to care for them.

    Can confirm. Slugs love strawberries.

    Also, slugs make love on strawberries.

    It’s the squirrels that always get mine but I did put some red painted rocks in the mix and they’ve gotten a couple bites. Does anyone sell a squirrel size landmine?
