    I’ve tried this in FF nightly, I wish it was for all tabs.

    Locking your screen with private tabs risks losing them entirely, so having a finger print lock for them is less useful.

      It’s a great feature. I wish they implemented it like Safari in iOS, where you need to use a password or biometrics to even get into the private browsing section (if you choose to set it up that way)

      That way all of your private tabs persist until you manually close them, but other people who might be using yer phone (imagine…) can’t accidentally get into your private tabs.

        Having them persist might be a bit confusing, given we have all been basically trained for years that they wont persist. But that definitely is a more useful implementation than the current ff one.

          I do like that they persist, but I use Firefox Focus for anything private that I want cleared out every time I exit the browser. Anything I wanna come back to, I open in Safari private mode!
