Surrogate partner therapy is a form of sexual therapy that allows clients to basically practice forming an intimate relationship with a surrogate (what I am) all under the supervision of their therapist.

Can you share more about what you learned? How does one be a good surrogate? What are the common pitfalls and risks?

In the third step, which more often than not, is not completed as it is not necessary to achieve the therapeutic goals, the surrogate partner therapist and client focus on sexuality, this may involve:

          • Physical touch
          • Sexual arousal
          • Sexual contact
          • Oral-genital stimulation
          • Sexual intercourse

So kinda, yeah. Doesn’t seem like it’s particularly common, but the process on the whole seems pretty avant-garde. Worth noting the wiki article on this is really bad, and there’s next to no information about the actual process easily found (from a reputable source) online.
