This is partly why I don’t believe in “brainwashing”. They reflect their class interests on the world stage as defenders of Western Hegemony and selectively use narratives (intelligently though malevolently) as a license for bigotry.

And it is why I may be increasingly disillusioned with Westerners’ (whatever the melanin concentration) collective revolutionary potential; this may be revealing, however, my lack of education in understanding where revolutionary potential is to be found (ie a class expansionist perspective and looking beyond the simplistic dichotomy of bourgoisie vs proleteriat).
