If I am reading the right information, this chip is on the 14nm process (specifically samsung, and they like to play games with their numbers) and is decently faster that the Nvidia T4, a 2018 card that was built on a 12 nm process. Pretty solid work, but there is a still a large performance gap to state of the art.
