It has become clear that the Target boycott is working pretty well. So well that the CEO just met with Al Sharpton, a 70 yr civil rights activist.

Classic, invoking Al Sharpton when you need to look repentant because racists think this guy is the mascot for black people so if they fake an apology to him, people will forget the whole thing and get back to giving them money and they can go back to being racist
Sharpton is all about Sharpton. The novel Bonfire of the Vanities might as well have a neon sign above Rev. Reginald Bacon, “This ass is Al Sharpton.”
BTW, it’s a fantastic book.
Now they just need to find a strawman for the gays and they’ll be all set.
