Who dis?
I’ve never had a Reddit account and just read a few Linuxy/FLOSSy subs via Teddit. Why Lemmy for me? I’ve been a Motörhead fan for decades and a Freeshell user since 2003. Seems like a good connection.

Welcome! I used to use reddit a lot, but I noticed I started using it less and less, especially after the user interface change. Some sub-reddits are still great, but there’s just so much garbage to sort through nowadays.
Many thanks. I’m hoping some of the fifteen or so subs that I follow will end up over here. They’re all pretty civilised.
