The number of cross-border travellers going from Canada to the U.S. dropped by nearly 900,000 in March compared to the same month last year, according to the latest U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data — easily one of the worst year-over-year drops recorded outside of the COVID-19 health crisis.

This is true. Also, instead of just saying that you are our friends, fucking do something about it. It’s your mess, and you aren’t getting my money until you clean your own house. It’s been a problem for a while, this is just the last straw.

I’ve come to the conclusion that it has to get very, very bad in the states before we’ll actually do something about it, and by then it’s likely to be too late. We’re taking the plunge into fascism, and it won’t end well.

I really hope I’m wrong. The 50501 protests have been somewhat heartening. But it’s hard to see them having a real impact on an actual fascist traitor president who no longer has to care about his own popularity.

So it’s hard to imagine this ending in anything but violence.

Lol its the governor of California, he can literally only have some control over what happens within California, with a couple of exceptions. PR is probably the main thing he can do. That being said, his PR message is probably not the best. You’re right though, Canadians not giving money to the US, red or purple states in particular, can only help encourage Trump voters change their minds.
