One UI 7 update halted worldwide (Updated: More rollout details)

Samsung has reportedly halted the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series owing to a "serious bug" found in the new build.

    I’ve deliberately not upgraded to 6, due to people’s battery life halving from 5 to 6.

    I’ll be sure to stay away from 7.

    Still getting massive battery life from my s21.

      I held off on updating to 6 until a week ago because of reports of people’s phones dying after updating to 6. So I jumped straight from 5 to 7.

      No regrets, my S22U is snappier than ever and the battery life is slightly improved. They added some settings that I’ll actually use and my phone has a fresh look. I’ve read that they improved the camera app so it now takes better pics, haven’t played around with that yet though. Overall fantastic update IMO.

        omg, so I updated. It went to 6 first, I guess it has to go from 6 to 7.

        Except, on my S21FE, it does not update to 7. It says 6.1 is the latest update for it.

        So now, my battery runs out in under half a day, and my phone is almost useless for work, unless I keep charging it. I am gutted. It’s purely software as I was getting days out of it still before the update.

        I even read first, and it says the S1FE does support 7, but, what can you do? The system says I’m on the latest.
