The only players that really got shafted were the South Americans, and even then I believe their ping is still playable although it has definitely taken a significant hit. Europeans have their own merged server so no one should give a fuck about them, East Coast Americans are in the low 100s at most which doesn’t affect gameplay much. The main problem is just that Connery still appears to have stability issues (possibly relating to one of the two gateway servers). If they can fix that, and to be fair it is a big if given the issue was never fixed when the game had more resources on it a few years ago, then the server merge will be a success. A West Coast server makes more sense for the game over the next few years, particularly considering SolTech is on its last legs and could be shutdown soon too.
