        its an overconsumption problem, not an overpopulation problem. the amount of people isn’t the issue, capitalism is. if you view it as there being too many people you quickly go down a dark path. how do you prevent people from making more people? who gets to make more people? if there are already too many, should we reduce the number? how? who needs to go?

      There literally is no overpopulation problem. America throws away enough food to feed all the starving people every year, while every major economy that isn’t India is facing an impending demographic collapse as their workforce retires and no new ones are available to replace them.
